A warm winter scarf

The other day it was especially cold. So I added my new scarf to my old gray coat and headed out to the gallery for a meeting. I do think it kept me from freezing!

Everyone I saw asked me where I got such a beautiful scarf, and I was very pleased to tell them that my granddaughter, Magda, had made it for me. My friends, artists, said the colors are extraordinary and they loved the pockets!

So do I.

Magda is also an artist and she has recently been making scarves. She also draws and is a talented painter.

I like this picture. I like this scarf, I think it was the best one at the show.

Do you use the pockets?

yes, I love it. It is a bit too long to use the pockets as hand warmers. I have thought of maybe turning them up one more time. Then they would be just the right length.

I like the other scarf too, the one I chose the colors for. BUT, I think THIS one is my favorite.
