I'm not buying any more skeins. From now on, I will knit socks using two already measured (and equal) balls of yarn. Then this won't happen. MAYBE there will be enough to finish both socks . . . ? ? ?
The colors don't show up well in the picture, but they are blue, green and black.

I am currently making a pair of toe up socks, 2 on one long circular needle. They are two colors, so I have two balls of yarn. I'm taking yarn for one sock out of the middle of the skein, and for the other out of the outside. I'll finish the socks when the yarn meets in the middle!
I wish I had thought of that! Maybe I can do that with the yarn I have left. If I run out, I'll make the toes with another color, ha!
