Sharon took these pictures for me of Point Reyes when I was working on the Lighthouse show. I made several attempts to paint it but never got one that worked. Haven't given up on it though.
It is in such an incredible location. They had to cut the cliff down and place the lighthouse lower.
From its first location, at the top of the cliff, the light shone out over the fog and the boats could not see it.
