The Red Socks are finally finished. So are the teal ones. (picture to follow) and a pair for Nora using Trekking XXL. I still don't know Nora's shoe size though. I think it is a 5. She is 9 1/2 years old. does that sound about right?
The red ones are for me. My feet were cold the other day and I put them on for the first time. Was amazed at how good they felt and how they warmed my feet almost instantly. They are made of Rowan 4-plyl Soft, (100% Merino wool) fingering weight. They're machine washable --in cool water. The Pattern is in Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road - page 26.
